Anastasia Adamidou is serving at the Office of the Commissioner for Gender Equality of the Republic of Cyprus, where she leads communication strategy, public relations and international outreach. Her responsibilities include strategic communications, public campaigns, and coordination with local and international communities and institutions.

Prior to this role, she built a long career at the Press and Information Office (PIO) of the Republic of Cyprus, specializing in government communications and international media relations. She supported the President of the Republic, ministers and government spokespersons, while coordinating media operations for major international summits, high-level diplomatic visits and conferences in Cyprus and abroad.

As head of the International and European Relations Section, she oversaw cooperation with foreign correspondents, and international media organizations, and managed communication teams and press operations for major local and international events.

She has an academic background in Sociology and Communications.
