Anna Kaplina is an Environmental Affairs Officer at the UNECE Convention on Long-range Transboundary Air Pollution and serves as Gender Focal Point for the UNECE Forests and Environment Division.

She has 20 years of experience in environmental protection, sustainable development, and humanitarian assistance across more than 25 countries. Prior to joining UNECE, she worked with UNEP, UNHCR, the UNECE Convention on the Protection and Use of Transboundary Watercourses and International Lakes, and UNDP on climate change, environmental pollution, and UN sustainability. Anna is committed to advancing environmental sustainability in support of human well-being and resilient communities.
